Theme tunes "Record Breakers" and "Dedication" (composed by Castle) were performed by Roy Castle
Original presenter Roy Castle was joined by twins Norris & Ross McWhirter, the founders of the Guinness World Records. Ross was murdered in 1975 by an IRA gunman but Norris continued until 1985. Castle - who broke nine world records on the show - died in 1994 and the show was then hosted by co-hosts Cheryl Baker and Kriss Akabusi up to 1997.
