Battle Of The Planets is an American animated series adapted from the Japanese anime series Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. It follows the adventures of G-Force, a team of five young heroes who protect Earth from the evil forces of Spectra. The series consisted of 85 episodes, produced by Sandy Frank Entertainment.
In the UK, Battle Of The Planets was aired sporadically on BBC One between 1979 and 1985, bouncing between weekend and weekday slots[1]. The BBC's airing order was unique compared to other countries[2]. It is thought that all episodes were aired but only 82 were named in Radio Times.
